新时代新征程中的文学研究具有重要使命。习近平总书记在文化传承发展座谈会上的重要讲话和对宣传思想文化工作作出的重要指示，进一步为新时代文学研究的历史担当提供了根本方向与指南。首先，坚持以马克思主义和习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，坚持以人民为中心的学术导向。其次，深刻理解和践行“两个结合”,以学科融合发展推动大学科建设，拓展文学研究新境界。最后，增强文学研究的对外交流功能，让文学研究更好地成为构建人类命运共同体的重要途径。此外，新时代中国文学研究的使命与担当还在于紧密围绕党和国家的重大需求，全面构建中国文学的自主知识体系。

Literary research in the new era and new journey has an important mission. General Secretary Xi Jinping 's important speeches at the symposium on cultural inheritance and development,as well as his important instructions on promoting ideological and cultural work,further provide fundamental directions and guidelines for the historical responsibility of literary research in the new era. Firstly,we need to adhere to the the guidance of Maxim and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and adhere to the academic orientation centered on the people. Secondly,we need to deeply understand and practice the “two combinations”,promote the construction of university disciplines through the integration of disciplines,and expand the new realm of literary research. Finally,the external communication function of literary research should be enhanced,so that literary research can better become an important way to build a community with a shared future for mankind. In addition,the mission and responsibility of research on Chinese literature in the new era also lie in closely focusing on the major needs of the CPC and the country,and comprehensively constructing an independent knowledge system of Chinese literature.
